The Care & Styling Guide
Care Tips
1. Regular Cleaning
- Use a soft-bristled brush or microfiber cloth to remove surface dirt. For leather or suede styles, avoid water; instead, apply a specialized cleaner (e.g., Saphir or Jason Markk). For fabric sneakers (like the Triple S), spot-clean with mild soap and a damp cloth. Always air-dry away from direct heat or sunlight.
- Leather: Condition with a Ph-neutral cream every 2-3 months to prevent cracking.
- Suede/Nubuck: Brush gently with a suede eraser or nylon brush to lift fibers. Use a waterproofing spray to guard against stains.
- Knitted Fabrics: Avoid abrasives; opt for gentle wipes and fabric protectors.
- Keep shoes in dust bags provided by Balenciaga. Stuff toes with acid-free tissue to retain shape. Store in a cool, dry place, away from humidity to prevent mold or discoloration. Avoid stacking to protect intricate soles (e.g., Track or Defender styles).
- Wipe rubber soles with a damp cloth to remove debris. For translucent soles (common in Triple S), avoid prolonged UV exposure to prevent yellowing.
