Care Tips

A Loewe handbag is more than an accessory; it's an investment in exquisite craftsmanship and timeless design. To ensure it remains a cherished part of your collection for years to come, proper care is essential. Here’s a quick guide to maintaining its beauty.

First, protection is key. Before first use, apply a high-quality leather protector spray suitable for your bag’s specific material (e.g., calfskin, nubuck). This creates a barrier against moisture and stains. Always avoid exposing your bag to direct sunlight, rain, or harsh chemicals.

For daily cleaning, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth after each use. This removes dust and prevents buildup. For deeper cleaning, use a leather cleaner recommended for the leather type. Apply a small amount to a microfiber cloth and test on an inconspicuous area first.

When not in use, stuff your bag with acid-free tissue paper to help it retain its shape. Store it in the original dust bag, placed in a cool, dry place away from humidity. Avoid hanging it, as this can strain the straps.

Lastly, remember that professional cleaning is advised for stubborn stains or major repairs. With consistent and careful maintenance, your Loewe handbag will develop a beautiful patina and tell your story for a lifetime.
